Sexy Seats

The new seat covers have arrived from Beachwood Canvas Works. These folks know what they are doing when it comes to vintage jeep tops and seat covers. I restored the seat frames myself. It took quite sometime before I was satisfied with the finish. The frames were initially prepared by Metal Rehab with the rest of the body parts. I had to primer and sand the bare seat frames about four times. After four more coats of paint, more sanding, and hand polishing they look real good. The final product is HOT! Can't wait to take the jeep for a ride.

Body Work Progresses

The body work is progressing. As you can see from the photos the right rear quarter panel has been removed. The other major area of concern is the bottom of the tool box. Overall the body is in great shape. Its going to look sharp when completed. The new seat cushions arrived this week. Photos will follow soon.

Body Work Begins

The tub and body parts have been delivered to Everman Paint and Body. It should take about eight weeks to complete the process. In the meantime we are putting the final touches on the seats, inner windshield frame, and other miscellaneous parts so that all will be ready when the body returns home.
